I read the book entitled “Stuart little”, because Stuart’s picture was so cuteJ Stuart is a mouse, but he speaks in English. He went to the lake, and he rode a soil. He went to adventure on the lake. He met turtle, fish and bird. I think he did so nice adventure.

BR 2-17: The Story of My Life -Helen Keller-

I read this book entitled “The Story of My Life –Helen Keller-”. Helen Keller is one of famous person in the world. I had known her story and her situation, but I didn’t know her particular information. Reading the book, I knew Helen’s teacher “Anne Sullivan” was involving Helen’s success. I’m proud of Anne Sullivan.
In 1880, Helen Keller was born in Alabama In 1882, she was age 2, she had a terrible fever. Doctor and her parents have treated her disease, but she couldn’t hear her years and see her eyes. So, her parents couldn’t educate her and she had grown up aggressively. In 1887, her parents called on Dr. Bell and per parents sent the letter to Parkinson’s school for the blind and her parents appealed the school to help. The school dispatched Anne Sullivan. She supports Helen Keller for about 50 years as a good teacher and friend.
I don’t know the terror that she felt. I thought that Helen was so clever person and she had studied so harder than a lot of people. And her teacher Anne Sullivan is very good person. This book was written that Anne supported Helen about for 50 year, I moved her eagerness for Helen. I wanted to see this story’s movie.

BR 2-16: At the Zoo

I read this book entitled "At the Zoo", there are a lot of animals in this book. I like elephant and white bare because their face are so cute and body are so big. As there were elephant in this book, I was happy. When I was a freshman, I went to zoo park with my club members. Then I saw a lot of animals. I gave them some food. When I gave lion some food, I was most excited. Mouse were so big. I wanted to give some food to bares, but they were sleeping then. Giraffe’s tongue and eyelash were very long. I was surprised. I thought that I want to be like that. I want to go there again.

BR 2-14: Pizza day

I read this book entitled “Pizza day”, because I like pizza especially. When I spent Christmas with my family last year, I ate pizza. I like cheeses and salami top on the pizza. My goal in this year is to be a good cooker. I want to a lot of dishes. This is how to make pizza. Let’s make it!!
Pizza
500g flour
1 2/1 tsp salt
1 2/1btsp yeast
400 mls warm water
200g ham
3 big tomatoes
200g grated cheese

Mix flour, yeast, and salt in a bowl. Add water and mix to a dough. Put bowl in sink of warm water. Leave 30 minutes. Add more warm water. Leave 30 minutes. Cut dough into five balls. Flatten out each ball of dough. Top with ham, tomatoes, and cheese. Put on baking tray. Bake for 15 minutes in a hot oven.

I read this book entitled "Boats!" When I went to Minnesota,　I rode boats sometimes, so I read this book. There were much kind of boat's pictures in this book. When I rode boats in Minnesota, I rode showboat and family boat. When I rode showboat, the boat run on the Mississippi river. I was so excited!! I had a good time there. My host family had some family boat, so I rode them. I t was so fun too!! I want to go to in Minnesota:)

I read this book entitled “Pet dogs and Working dogs.” There are a lot of dogs in the world, but they have different lifestyle. I want to introduce two dogs in the book. One is a dog, the dog lives inside because the dog is pet. Another is a dog too, but he is in outside because he helps many people, so he is working dog. He cares of a man who is blind. I thought his helps makes the person happy. I don’t know the dogs are happy, but they make happy a lot of people.

BR2-10: Heidi

I read a wonderful book, name is "Heidi". This story is a popular story, so many people know about her this story. Heidi is a cherryful girl. She lived with her aunt, but one day she is brought a mountain with her aunt. She couldn't want to go there, but they went to. There was a old man who was Heidi's grandfather. Heidi met with him, and she started to live with the old man. She afraid of the man, but he was a so kind. Heidi had learned him a lot of things. He cooked dishes for Heidi. It was not splendid, but pretty delicious. They had so wonderful days. One day, Heidi’s aunt came to their house, and she took Heidi to downtown. Heidi was so sad. After arrived downtown, she was employed to a serve. There was a big house and there was a girl. She is Clara, she was weak in her body and she couldn’t walk. Heidi made good friends with her. They had a good day, but Clara’s condition didn’t be good. She took out her to that grandfather’s house!! Heidi, Clara and grandfather spent so good time. Clara saw so beautiful mountains, lakes, flowers etc. And Clara could walk herself!! They were so glad. And they spent a good days long time.
As I had watched this story on TV, I had known. But there was a lot of things I didn’t know about Heidi. I thought Heidi is kind and have energy. I thought that if my friends have so terrible problems, I want to help and I want to hear about the person’s worry.

BR 2-9: Cars

This time, I chose this one, "Cars", because I like driving. Cars are very useful. When I go shopping in our town’s mall, I use my family’s car. When I go to school, I sometimes use it. There are a lot of cars, and so many people use it. I had thought that the person who thought of cars is so genius. I found that the person who thought of cars was Leonardo da Vinch. He invented vehicle, not cars. I was surprised because his invention was thought the 1400s. After that, Gurney’s steam coach was invented the 1700s. This vehicle’s energy is a steam. Next energy was gunpowder. I thought that people who made cars thought about how to useful cars and they worked very hard.
After that, cars progressed a lot of times. They changed from manual to automatic, tires made to rudder, roofed that we can keep back from rain. I felt the passion of professors.
About 1900s, the car that we use every day was born. And there are a lot of varieties cars in the world. We were pursuing only desire ourselves. As a result, we have brought so terrible circumstance for our earth. It’s a green gas. It was effect of exhaust gas from cars. We have to think about the future of earth, and I hope that near the future, the car that gentle for earth was made, and many people ride it.

I chose this book "PENGUINS", because the picture of book was very cute. I knew that there are a lot of penguins in the world. They have short legs, and cute winds and warm feather. I thought the feather is so warm, because they live the place that we usually can't live. I want to introduce about 2 penguins. First is Emperor, they are largest one. They can grow as tall as six years old child. Next is Fairy, there are smallest penguin, their height is as same as your knee. They live in Nouth America, South America and Antarctica. I knew about bond of family between penguins. When male penguin has their egg on their foot, female penguin go to get their food. They do this action many weeks. I thought penguin's habit is so good. I want to see penguins.

This time I chose this book, “Beef Stew”, because I have one of big problem.
This book’s main character is Nicky, he is a little boy. When he got up in the morning, he smelled so good. His mother was cooking beef stew. Her mother said "Please take your friends if you want to eat beef stew with someone". He looked for someone who can eat beef stew together, but no one found. When he came back his home, he found his grandmother, he was so happy and he take her in his house, and they ate beef stew.
Do you remember what I wrote I have one of big problem. It's I can't cook dishes:( Recently my mother started to work, so I had to cook dishes. But I can't cook, so I must learn how to cook much recipe.

BR 2-6: Harry Goes To Day Camp

I choose this book, “Harry Goes To Day Camp”, because I remembered my memory of camp in Minnesota.
The main character is Harry, he is a rhinoceros. He goes to day camp. He plays baseball and basketball. When he plays something, he always asks a counselor. “When do I go swimming?” But swimming didn’t do. After lunch, he could do swimming. He was so glad, and he swum. His swimming form was so nice, he was a hero of the day camp.
When I stayed in Minnesota this summer, I went to camp with my host family. I had so fun time there and I want to go there again. My best memory of camp in Minnesota is to eat some burned marshmallow in biscuits. It was so delicious. I want to eat again.

I read this book, tittle of the book is "Frog and Toad All Year". It's story of two frogs. Frog is a taller frog, he is active and positive. Toad is a smaller frog, he is negative. Though character of their are different, they are close friends. This book is 5 short stories. These are so good stories, but I have a best story in this book. Tittle is "The surprise". This story is that they go to clean up thier house. I thought they are so kind. I want to be a person who can take care of someone.

BR 2-4: Snake Camp

I chose it, “Snake Camp”, because YL level was 2.0~ 3.0. I have read the books that YL level was 1.0~ 2.0, when I read English book. But they were easy to read for me. I couldn’t learn about new slang and words. As I want to learn many new slang and words, so I chose it.
This story is that a boy who doesn’t like snakes becomes to like them. One day, his father sent him to computer camp, but this camp name was “Snake Camp”, so his father had sent him to wrong camp. He wanted to get back home, but he couldn’t. He had experienced a lot of wonderful and funny things, and he became to like snakes.
This book had a lot of new words and idioms. I learned a mot of them. I want to read like this book more and more.

I chose it, “TINY THE SNOW DOG”, and read, because the picture of top book was so cute, when I see the book at first, so I read.
Tiny is a little boy’s dog. They are good friends. One day, as it was a snow day, they went out. They played catch and hide and seek. They were enjoying them, but as it was time to get back home, they went back their house.

He was always scaring anything. One day, he was sitting under the tree, then a acorn fell on chicken Lichen’s head. He was so surprising, and he thought that the sky was falling!! He run, and warned many other bird.
I think that he is so shy, but he is so cute. He should be calmly, and be careful anything. Chicken Lichen is like me. I sometime shy, that is what I should improve. I think that I try to change myself as I read this book.

I chose this book “RATER, ROVER”. It was easy to read, so most of people will read it. I thought person of Andy wanted to hang out with him. He was poor. But, I’m glad that he could hang out with a dog. The dog is so cute and obedient. I wanted to have a dog. If you want to easy book, so I recommend it.

BR 1-11: Animal legends

June, 24th
I chose this book ”Animal legends”. This book is separated three chapter, one is story of cat and mice, next is monkeys, last is story of rabbit and crocodile. I’m interested in story of cat and mice. Now, cat and mice are enemy each other, but this story is that long ago cat and mice were good friends. I thought the author who wrote this book is intelligent, because content of this story was very good and the author may be a romantic. I like this story, but I don’t like second story. This story has a lot of difficult word, I didn’t understand. I have to memorize a lot of words. If I can read this book easily, I want to try to read more difficult books.
