Do you know future of earth?

One day when I watch a TV problem, I knew about bad things. It is that ice of North Pole is melting now. And number of living thing that living here is decreasing. I saw a white bear in the TV problem. The white bear was so sad. They had nothing to eat, because as it is rise temperature of earth, many seal is not in North Pole. I was so sad. I think recently climate of earth is changing. In Japan, temperature of summer rises every year. I think this summer was so hot too. I worry the earth’s future. So I will show you about issue of earth.

This site is written about climate change of earth. As it is written for children, we can easy to read and we can understand well. I was interested in about greenhouse effect. It is temperature rise on the ground. It is influenced carbon dioxide, Freon and so on. Sun solar radiation comes to earth. Some radiation troughs atmosphere and come our ground. Generally, radiation emits to space, but some of them can not emit, because there are a lot of bad gases, for example, carbon dioxide and Freon and so on. They prevent from going them to space. So the radiation can’t emit and the temperature of earth rise. It is very vicious circle, because we use a lot of cars all over the world. Fuel of car is gasoline, as it use, it changes carbon dioxide. And we use a lot of fuel, we take out many them. I thought we should idea about resolution of them.

Next, this site manages NASA. It is written about Global warming. It is similar to greenhouse effect. As this site, it will rise about 10 degrees till 2100. It is so scary things. If the bad thing is true, we will not live to earth. So we should do measure as soon as possible.

Issue is not only these, for example acid rain, decrease of coral and so on. There are a lot of about earth issue now. 1997, a lot of politician came to in Japan and enacted Kyoto protocol. But this fixed principle doesn’t promise. We should act for earth each other. We should protect our beautiful earth for children in the future.

Guladuation Party

Today was gulaguation celemony. Most of girl wore Japanese Yukata. They were so cute. Before party, I hung out with Ali. She is so kind. We went to the place where have many art goods on the field. First, we watched a object. It looks like funny thing. There was a cherry on the spone. It was so huge. It seems famous place in Minnesota. And we walked flower garden. There were a lot of beautiful flowers in the plastic greenhouse. And we went ti chai the store. It was good taste. We took many pictures in the store. We came back house. And we went to bethel univercity.
Guladuation party was so good!!!! We watched DVD. It took us. We were laughing each other. And we recived testimonial. We guladuated bethel univercity. After that, we took many picture. I had a fun time.

United Noodle

Saturday/16/August

At noon, I went to “United noodles”. There were many Asian foods. Of cause there were many Japanese foods. Especially, there were many Japanese noodles. I like it. I looked at many things around here. As I want to drink Japanese green tea, I bought it. When I look at other things, a woman said me,”Are you Japanese?” I surprised but I said, “Yes, but why did you find?” She said, “Because you have a Japanese green tea.” And she said, “Did you come from in Kumamoto?” I really really surprised and said, “Yes, but why did you find?” She answered “Did you stayed in lake? I stayed over there.” when we went to lake, there were Japanese women under the tree. She was one of them!!!! I really surprised and glad, because I didn’t think that I can speak Japanese in here expect our students. I introduced her host family and we expected about our meet. She talked with Maria in English. Her English was fluently. I thought I want to be like her. After that, as I gained weight, I walked around house. I walked about 50 minutes. I was beating and I took a nap. After nap, I went to Srallow’s house. She was one of host family. Today was our party. We made many cookies (We looked to make cookies), and we played ballyball and tip. Tip was so fun!! .About 10:30 pm, Maria came in house. I had a good time there. Thank you Srallow and Maria.

Last class

Friday/15/August

Today was our last class. Although I didn’t like homework, I liked Anita’s class. Anita is beauty. A photo which Anita was 18 years old was so beauty. Anita was powerful, kind and funny. She is a good teacher. Thank you teaching us many things.
After ESL, we went to the lake. Before we swim, we looked at a one group. They were Japanese women and some children. I thought that they married Americans, and moved in Minnesota. And we swam. Swimming was so fun. About 3:30 pm, we came back bethel university, and I came back home. On the way to, I talked to Pole, he was our school driver. He always took us till Bethel University, so we gave him a letter. He gladded. I know that recently he married and he has a child. I want him to be happy. After arrived home, I went to restaurant with Doran family to eat dinner. It was good.

I went to farm. There were many animals. They were cute, but as messy, I didn’t come up them. And I came back home, and I went to Ali’s friends house, because her friend will stay with our house. Monday/11/August

Today, we wrote writing essay. Main theme is “My experience in Minnesota.” I wrote about two customs in America. There are hug and friendly. I think there are very important to people. After school, I went to super target with Ali and Sydney (my host family’s younger daughter). I bought many snacks because I’m going to give Japanese friends them.

This week is last week I can spend here. I’m so sad. I’m glad to come back in Japan, but here is so comfortable for me. Doran family is kindness. I love them.

I woke up at 10:30 am, and when I woke up, I was so hungry, so I ate a lot of food. For example, mafin, sushi, peer, cookies, popato chips, soup and bread. I ate too much. After eat, I hang out with Ali. And we went to restaurant to meet Arron. He is one of her friend. We met him, and we ate soup. When I saw him, I felt that he likes Ali. They should go out. And we went to mall and guitar center. Ali likes playing the guitar. She is good at to play the guitar. We went back home at 5:00pm, and I took a nap.

I woke up at 10:30am. And at 1:00 pm, I went to circus with Maria. It was very exciting!!!! Most of people who announce are younger than I. But performance was very wonderful. I impressed. Today was soooooooo funny dayJ
I wake up at 6:30 am, and I went to school. Soon, I prepared to eat lunch. We put some bagle in the box, because today is picnic. We went to lake, and rode canoe. It was so fun, but I’m so tired. Because most of time I pulled oar. I saw beautiful places. After that, we arrived under the birdeg. This was our goal. I took about 3 hours till we arrived it. And we moved by car. Barak Obama

Wednesday/6/August Today is a special day!!!! At 1:30 pm, I left school early, because today is a special day. At 2:30 pm, I went back home, and I prepared to go to hotel. I dressed up, I wearied a blue dress. I like it, because blue is my favorite color. And I made up again. At 3:30 pm, I left home with Maria. We went to Minneapolis. And we arrived to Hilton hotel. It’s a big building, I think there is no like it in Kumamoto. And there are many Medias around here. For example, TV, news paper and radio crew. I really surprised them. We came in hotel. Most of people wore dress and beautiful one-pieces. We waited a great person. He is Barak Obama.
At 4:50 pm, he came at our room. We welcomed him our clapping. And we took pictures with him. I was really nervous because he is a famous person. But he was a good person and his smile makes me relax. I took a picture to him, and shaked hands. I was a so lucky girl, because I thought he is a person who is in TV. But I met him. I really appreciate my host family. Thank you very much. And when I wait him, Kelly (my host family’s father) introduced many people about me. He said, “This is Yuu Sakata. She is Japanese exchange student.” Then, I realized that I’m a exchange student. I couldn’t talk English very well, but they aspected me. Although we have difference skin color, we are a person.
After introduction, we heard Obama’s lecture. He was really good person. I think it’s hard to govern, but he can do it. I hope his victory. I think he will be a new president in America. At 6:30 pm, this reception is done. I think I’m a so lucky girl. I fad so fun time there.

Monday/4/August

Linda: Linda’s jokes are way better than Joel’s. She makes me laugh. Joel should not tell any more bad jokes. I will tell Joel when he gets back how great Linda is!!!!

When I eat for lunch with my friends, one of my friend, Yoshimi, said me , ”I can not speak a pronunciation of R. So I’m practicing every day.” I agree with her. Japanese can’t speak pronunciation of R. Also, we can’t tell difference of R and L. So, we practice a pronunciation of R. Then, Kailey gave us some candy. We got a candy into my mouse, at that we did pronunciation of R. And we could say R so fluently. I was really glad. After that, we met Linda, who is Joel’s wife. When we talk to her, she said. “When I talk to Japanese people, I can listen that R’s pronunciation seems like D.” I thought we have to study more and more, and we have to practice of pronunciation.

Nursing center

As I didn't sleep, I woke up late. Today, I heard about handicap story. I thought about disability. I think this story is very important for me. I hope sciety become more comfortable to disability. And, I went to nursing home. There were many eldery people. When I saw them, I remembered my ground father. He has dead about 3 years ago. His disease is Alzheime's. It's a heavy sick. I was sad. I hope that house's people lives happily.
